Islannin jazzhuippuihin lukeutuva pianisti Sunna Gunnlaugs yhdistää voimansa trumpetisti Verneri Pohjolan kanssa. Alun perin Tampere Jazz Happening -tapahtumassa debytoinut, lumoavan melodisista soundistaan tunnettu yhtye ilahdutti viime keväällä esiintymällä mm. Bremenin kuuluisalla Jazzahead!-festivaalilla. Nyt kokoonpano saapuu G Livelabiin ja tarjoilee materiaalia kvartetin ylistetyltä Ancestry-albumilta.

Pianist Sunna Gunnlaugs is one of the most sought-after musicians in the Icelandic jazz scene. The Washington Post has described her music to have "timeless virtues as lyricism and grace". A few years back, Gunnlaugs's trio debuted in Finland at Tampere Jazz Happening bringing trumpeter Verneri Pohjola into the mix. In January the Nordic combo re-unites at G Livelab to perform material from their lauded album "Ancestry".

If the event is not sold out, there will be student tickets available at the door for 20 € each (student tickets not sold online). Door ticket sales will begin at 6 pm on the day of the show. The concert has no age limit.
