Brooklynista uransa startannut soul-laulaja Nicole Willis julkaisi alkuvuodesta 2019 ylistetyn albuminsa My Soul Sensation. Ennen 90-luvun alussa alkanutta soolouraansa Willis toimi taustalaulajana mm. Curtis Mayfieldin ja Leftfieldin kaltaisten nimien yhtyeissä. Sittemmin Willis on tullut musiikkidiggareille tutuksi mm. The Soul Investigators -albumeista ja Jimi Tenorin kanssa tehdyistä Cola & Jimmu -levytyksistä. Uudella pitkäsoitolla Willis yhdistää voimansa mm. JESSE-elektroyhtyeen jäsenien kanssa, ja lopputuloksena on tanssittavaa, elektronisen musiikin maailmasta ammentavaa materiaalia.

Soul great Nicole Willis released her new album "My Soul Sensation" in early 2019 and performs now at G Livelab Tampere presenting material from this praised album. With "My Soul Sensation", Willis joins forces with eg. the members of the JESSE electro band, and the end result is dancing material that draws its inspiration from the world of electronic music.

If the event is not sold out, there will be student tickets available at the door for 15 € each (student tickets not sold online). Door ticket sales will begin at 6 pm on the day of the show. The concert has no age limit.
